Powerstrip is a high-performance floor coating stripper formulated for the rapid removal of solvent sealers, base sealers, polish build-up and burnished coatings from resilient flooring. Its powerful formulation quickly softens and emulsifies aged, worn and discoloured coatings, helping reduce scrubbing time, labour and overall restoration costs.

Designed for professional floor restoration, Powerstrip is suitable for natural stone, terrazzo, concrete, ceramic and porcelain surfaces. Its low-foam, free-rinsing formulation makes it easy to remove loosened coating slurry and residues following treatment.

How to Use

Read and understand the MSDS before use. Always pre-test in an inconspicuous location before full application.

Dilution:

• 1:10 for light coating build-up
• 1:4 for heavy build-up and UHS burnished coatings

Application:

1. Prepare the floor: Sweep the area thoroughly to remove loose soil and debris that could damage the floor during mechanical scrubbing.
2. Apply: Apply the diluted solution liberally using a cotton mop, ensuring the floor is thoroughly wet. Work in small, manageable areas.
3. Allow dwell time: Allow at least 5 minutes dwell time.
4. Agitate: Scrub using a low-speed rotary scrubber or autoscrubber fitted with a suitable black, brown or high-productivity pad.
5. Keep wet: Do not allow the solution to dry on the floor during the stripping process.
6. Remove slurry: Pick up the slurry and rinse thoroughly with clean water to remove all stripper and coating residues.
7. Inspect and repeat: Allow the floor to dry before commencing restoration. Re-treat areas where polish build-up remains or where sections were missed during the initial application.
