Actisorb – Professional Stain-Absorbing Poultice Powder

Actisorb is a fine, neutral absorption powder designed to draw out deep-set oils, stains, residues and embedded contamination from porous stone and masonry surfaces. Used primarily as a poultice, its advanced absorption properties help pull contaminants from within the substrate without damaging sensitive surfaces.

Actisorb can be combined with a wide range of cleaning solutions, including solvents and alkaline products, allowing the poultice to be tailored to the type of stain being treated. Specialty non-scratch abrasives also provide additional cleaning power for stubborn surface residues and compacted grime.

Use it to target oil stains, deep-set grime, grout smear, cement residues, wax coatings and other embedded contamination.

How to Use

Always read the SDS and pre-test in an inconspicuous area before use. Actisorb is a fine powder – wear a suitable dust mask during handling.

Poultice Application:

1. Mix Actisorb with POG to form a toothpaste-like consistency.
2. Apply a 10–15mm thick layer over the affected oil stain.
3. Allow to remain for a minimum of 2 hours or until completely dry.
4. Cover with plastic or similar material to protect from direct sunlight and extend drying time where required.
5. Once dry, rinse or brush away the poultice.

Scourer Application:

1. Mix Actisorb with T&G Cleaner Pro to create a wet paste.
2. Apply to grout smear, cement residue or heavily compacted grime.
3. Scrub using a suitable nylon pad.
4. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.

For larger floor areas, Actisorb can also be combined with the appropriate cleaning solution to create a slurry, agitated using a low-speed scrubber with a red pad or brush, then extracted and rinsed.
